Bevier House Museum in Marbletown, New York

Marbletown, located on the eastern edge of the Catskill Mountains and the northern edge of the Shawangunk Ridge, is defined by scenic landscapes, mountain views and abundant farmland. The town’s well-known hamlets include Stone Ridge, home to Ulster County Community College, and portions of High Falls, which is renowned for its beautiful waterfalls.

The town is also rich in architectural heritage (it offers four nationally registered historic districts), and it boasts a variety of restaurants, U-pick farms, farm stands, holistic health and retail shops, and seasonal flea markets and farm-to-table activities popular with both weekenders and locals. Among its many attractions are the Delaware and Hudson Canal Museum, the O&W Rail Trail, and the Marbletown Town Park with the Esopus Creek beach.
