As part of our exhibition, “Leaving Bishop Falls: An Ashokan Story,” April Biesaw discusses her new book, Taking Our Water for the City: The Archaeology of New York City’s Watershed Communities. April’s work explores the impacts on historical communities around the watershed through archaeological excavation carried out by teams of Vassar students.
