About Plattekill
Among Plattekill’s many charms are family-friendly farms and orchards and activity hub Thomas Felton Memorial Park, which hosts a variety of events year-round.
The Plattekill Historical Society was formed in August 2000 by a small group of enthusiasts to provide an opportunity for all to participate in educational programs, research, documentation and preservation of the history of our community. Our mission is to: Contribute to the maintenance of quality historic standards and documentation; Serve as a source for the exchange of historic information; Help preserve public and private records and artifacts and work to ensure their accessibility for historic purposes; Promote an interest in local and family history; Collect and preserve artifacts that document the history of our community.
Posh hotels, retro-inspired inns, tricked-out cabins and cozy B&Bs are just some of the lodging options.
