When the war ends, Walter, the youngest of the Sparks’ clan, comes home from the Pacific with dreams to pursue, only to discover that the money he has been socking away for the last three years has been spent by his family in an effort to keep the clam shack from closing down. High jinks ensue as the family confronts the lost dreams that they themselves have long since given up on. All seems lost until a miracle finds its way to their doorstep.
