The DRAW Gallery presents the closing event for Between Water and Sky by Sikena Khadija. Sikena Khadija and Josh Kramb will give an artist talk in conversation with each other. The talk will consider how place informs identity and how identity shifts within place without always announcing itself. Through dialogue, the artists will examine slowness as method, stillness as choice, and what it means to make work in landscapes that hold layered histories. This event is part of Black History Month Kingston and will be open to all.
