About Woodstock
A lot has changed since the Woodstock Music Festival in 1969, but the world’s most famous small town maintains its rep for arts, music and eccentricity.
The Barn began as the home recording studio of Levon Helm (1940 - 2012), the actor and drummer of the legendary rock-roots group, The Band, which performed at the original Woodstock Festival. In 2004, the studio evolved, hosting a series of Midnight Rambles concerts. The "Rambles" are a series of live performances, played to sold out audiences, in an unusually intimate setting.
Posh hotels, retro-inspired inns, tricked-out cabins and cozy B&Bs are just some of the lodging options.
