About Woodstock
A lot has changed since the Woodstock Music Festival in 1969, but the world’s most famous small town maintains its rep for arts, music and eccentricity.
The newly renovated and enclosed playhouse on the historic site at the gateway to Woodstock carries on a celebrated tradition with a new era of fine performances in music, theatre and dance as established in 1929. With two large art galleries and an intimate 321-seat house, the space has been reviewed as one of the finest venues in the Hudson Valley for year-round performances. The Woodstock Playhouse is a non-profit organization.
Posh hotels, retro-inspired inns, tricked-out cabins and cozy B&Bs are just some of the lodging options.
