About Phoenicia Playhouse
The Phoenicia Playhouse is the home of the Shandaken Theatrical Society, a 40-plus-year-old not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing community theater to our mountain village. Our venue is a building that was built in 1887 -- right off of the Phoenicia's Main street -- creating a remarkable atmosphere for experiencing theater.
