About Woodstock
A lot has changed since the Woodstock Music Festival in 1969, but the world’s most famous small town maintains its rep for arts, music and eccentricity.
Maverick Concerts, America's oldest continuous summer chamber music festival and winner of the Chamber Music America/ASCAP Award for Adventurous Programming, thrives on the love of great music and the spirit of its unique site in the unspoiled woods. The rustic 1916 concert hall, with its perfect acoustics, is ideally suited to chamber music and the intimacy of live performance. Concerts feature world renowned chamber music ensembles in a historic, woodland setting. Performances held July - September on Classical Saturday evening at 6 p.m. and Non-classical Saturday evening at 8 p.m. Sunday performances at 4 p.m.
Posh hotels, retro-inspired inns, tricked-out cabins and cozy B&Bs are just some of the lodging options.
