About Ellenville Public Library & Museum

Terwilliger House: A late nineteenth century Queen Anne Victorian house built in 1895 by George Deyo, Terwilliger House is the perfect setting for Ellenville Public Library & Museum’s local history collection. This outstanding collection includes artifacts from Ellenville Glass Works and stoneware from Ellenville Pottery, as well as products of industries that flourished in the heyday of the Delaware and Hudson Canal. Historic post cards, oral history CDs, and research files containing articles, ephemera and photographs make EPL&M’s museum holdings a community treasure trove. Hours: Wednesday and Friday, noon – 4:00 p.m.; Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and by appointment. Tours are welcome.
