About Balsam Lake Mountain Fire Tower

The 47-foot tower was erected in 1919 with Catskill high peak views. There is a 3-mile hiking trail from Mill Brook Road leading to the 3,723-foot summit. Cab at top of tower is open weekends and holidays, June-Columbus Day. Accessible year-round.
