About Kingston
In Kingston — New York’s first state capital — history collides with the modern day to create an interesting and hip destination.
Owned by wife-and-husband team Giovanna "Jenny" Vis and Paul Maloney, this "classic American drinking establishment" in uptown Kingston's historic district offers something for everyone in a Federal-style space (formerly the Singer sewing machine building). Behind the bar: wine; 20 bottled beers and four on tap; stout; and regional beers. Bites include grilled sausage; smoked cheddar cheese with fresh onion, stone-ground mustard, and wheat crackers; pickle plate with hot-baked pretzels; and sardines in the tin. Open Thursday through Sunday, 4 p.m. - closing.
