For three days during O+ Festival Kingston 2026, Site Seen brings contemporary art into an unexpected setting: a working deli in the heart of Uptown Kingston.

Presented in collaboration with O+, Of Paper and Plate brings together 14 contemporary artists inside Market Basket Delicatessen. Rather than transforming the deli into a gallery, the exhibition allows the two to coexist. The counter stays open, lunch gets made, customers come and go, and art enters a space already in motion.

Taking its title from two familiar objects, paper and plate, the exhibition invites artists to consider their material, cultural and associative possibilities while responding to a place never designed for the presentation of art.
