A Night with Steve Earle: A Benefit Concert for Clearwater
April 29 @ 6:00 pm
$65 – $250
Join master singer-songwriter Steve Earle for an intimate solo and acoustic concert at the TEMPO Performing Arts Center to benefit Hudson River Sloop Clearwater. A protege of legendary songwriters Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark, Steve Earle quickly became a master storyteller in his own right, with his songs being recorded by Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Joan Baez, Emmylou Harris, The Pretenders, and countless others. In 2020, Earle was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. And in 2023, Steve was honored by the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music.
This concert will benefit Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, a member-supported nonprofit dedicated to protecting the Hudson River through education, advocacy, sailing, and music, and is a project of the Clearwater Festival. 2026 marks the 60th anniversary of founder Pete Seeger’s first fundraising concerts for the sloop, and the start of Clearwater’s musical heritage that continues to this day.
This concert is made possible by the support and partnership of Radio Kingston and TEMPO Performing Arts Center.
