SUMMARY:Start Making Sense (Talking Heads Tribute)
DESCRIPTION:START MAKING SENSE: TALKING HEADS TRIBUTE \nThe music of Talking Heads has excited\, inspired\, and healed folks worldwide since their first show at CBGB’s in 1975.If David Byrne is one of the geniuses of modern times\, then Start Making Sense is a tribute to genius. The musicians in this seven-piece band celebrate the entire Talking Heads’ catalog\, meticulously executing the sounds and iconic live visual elements in every performance\, bringing so much of the Heads unique live show that you know and love to the stage. \nTHE GROOVE MERCHANTS \nThe Groove Merchants are here to throw down and break out. Founded in 2012\, out of the practice rooms and Main Street basements of Kutztown University in Pennsylvania\, by lead vocalist Tye Vallone\, lead guitarist Luke Ferracone\, and bassist John Evin Groome\, the band discovered their chemistry almost instantly. Twisting in elements of blues\, funk and soul resulting in a revival of authentic performance\, The Groove Merchants have been pushing that sound forward ever since.

SUMMARY:MET: Così fan tutte (Mozart)
DESCRIPTION:The Met: Live in HD season kicks off with Mozart’s satirical comedy of fickle young love\, one of the composer’s most sublime creations. Phelim McDermott’s “colorful\, inventive” (The New York Times) staging\, inspired by Coney Island in the 1950s\, sets the uproarious story at a boardwalk amusement park\, where the two pairs of lovers at the heart of the tale find themselves on one emotional—and literal—thrill ride after another.

SUMMARY:Margaret Glaspy
DESCRIPTION:In an era of excess and endless distraction\, the New York-based singer/songwriter Margaret Glaspy rejects the noise in favor of something far more essential. On the self-possessed title track for her new album I Am Both Glaspy offers an ardent refusal of any outside pressure to compromise her multidimensionality. “I wrote ‘I Am Both’ a while ago; the story is based on a female character that I look up to deeply—a woman who contains multitudes while seeing reality very clearly\,” says Glaspy. “It can feel safer to try to fit myself into a category\, but I find that embracing my own complexity is much healthier for me.” That embrace of complexity runs throughout the album’s eleven tracks. \n

SUMMARY:Angelo De Augustine w/ Erin Rae
DESCRIPTION:Angelo De Augustine returns with Angel in Plainclothes\, his fifth album and most inspired work yet—a deeply felt rendering of his multi-year journey of healing and renewal. The record showcases De Augustine’s powerful melodies and poignant lyrics across tracks like the haunting elegy “Empty Shell\,” the hopeful “Spirit of the Unknown\,” and standout psychedelic country piece “Mirror Mirror.” Themes explore life’s fragility\, second chances\, and picking up the pieces after an undiagnosed illness forced him to re-learn basic abilities: “I’m trying to figure out who I am now\,” De Augustine says. “I feel like I may have been given a second chance at life\, and I’d like to live it.”

SUMMARY:Of Paper and Plate: Contemporary Art at Market Basket Delicatessen
DESCRIPTION:For three days during O+ Festival Kingston 2026\, Site Seen brings contemporary art into an unexpected setting: a working deli in the heart of Uptown Kingston. \nPresented in collaboration with O+\, Of Paper and Plate brings together 14 contemporary artists inside Market Basket Delicatessen. Rather than transforming the deli into a gallery\, the exhibition allows the two to coexist. SUMMARY:Blind Contour Portraits
DESCRIPTION:Join artist Tracy Loring for a playful exploration of portraiture through blind contour drawing and watercolor. Working first in pencil\, participants will create a portrait without looking down at the page\, then build on their drawing with watercolor to bring it to life. No drawing experience is necessary. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to see—and draw—a little differently!

The counter stays open\, lunch gets made\, customers come and go\, and art enters a space already in motion. \nTaking its title from two familiar objects\, paper and plate\, the exhibition invites artists to consider their material\, cultural and associative possibilities while responding to a place never designed for the presentation of art. \nPresented by Site Seen in collaboration with O+ as part of O+ Festival Kingston 2026. \nFree and open to the public. Registration is encouraged but not required.
