Instructor: Jenne M. Currie. We will start out discussing composition- studying the work of masters such as Titian, Vermeer and Cezanne and compare them to modern works of art. Students will begin by painting loosely on paper, applying color and texture using palette knives, sponges as well as traditional brushes. As we dig deeper, we will discuss methods of creating a sense of movement, excitement and energy in students’ work. Suitable for all levels; no experience necessary! Ages 19+
