Michael Torres, a local photographer and Kingston resident, embarked on a poignant project: capturing the portraits of 100 elders in our community. This Black History Kingston initiative, driven by a desire to honor and appreciate the wisdom and experiences of the older generation, embodies the spirit of “giving them their flowers” now while they are still with us.
