Adam Ippolito’s career as a pianist spans 50 years. He has recorded with three Hall Of Fame Artists, including Kool & The Gang, John Lennon, and Chuck Berry. In addition, Adam is featured in the John Lennon PBS American Masters Video “LENNONYC”, and appears in two new Lennon documentaries, “ONE TO ONE” and “DAYTIME REVOLUTION”, about a week John co-hosted the Mike Douglas Show in 1972. He also played for The Joffrey Ballet and Broadway shows such as “Dancin’” and “Grease”. Earlier in his career he was a member of the rock bands, Elephants Memory and Pig Iron, both of which had recording contracts with Apple and Columbia Records. The Elephants Memory album for Apple Records was produced by John Lennon. Adam was a member of John Lennon’s band for two years over which time he recorded many songs and albums and has appeared in videos and on television many times.
From the 70’s to the 90’s Adam was a studio musician recording not only with John Lennon, Chuck Berry, and Kool & The Gang, etc. but also with many other artists of a variety of genres. Adam wrote and produced for Love/Zager Productions which handled The Spinners, Cissy Houston, and Dave Valentin in addition to many other R&B artists.
